Community guidelines
herity exists so that women can find one another safely. These guidelines apply at events, in messages and everywhere on the platform; everyone who joins accepts them.
1. Women only
herity is a women-only community. Everyone who joins declares that she joins it as a woman. No accounts on someone else's behalf, and no handing an account over.
2. Respect
We treat everyone with respect. There is no place for humiliation, harassment, threats, hate speech or discrimination.
3. Privacy
We protect the privacy of guests and venues. We do not share an event's address, its guest list or other people's personal details outside the event.
4. Photos and video
We ask everyone in the frame before taking or sharing. We do not photograph anyone who would rather not be; if someone asks, we take down what we shared.
5. Real identity
We join under our own name with accurate details. No fake profiles, and no passing ourselves off as someone else.
6. The host's rules
Every event has its own way of doing things. We follow the rules the host sets.
7. Show up if you said you would
If you can't make an event you registered for, cancel your registration so your place opens for someone else.
8. If you host
Describe your event as it is; if the date or place changes, tell your guests in good time. Use your guests' details only for that event, and do not discriminate when reviewing applications.
9. No unsolicited messages
We do not use messages, invites or announcements for unsolicited sales, advertising or bulk messaging.
10. Safety first
Leave an event where you do not feel safe. In an emergency call 112; afterwards, tell us too.
If you see a guideline being broken, tell us with "Report" on the event, member or circle page; we do not tell the other side who reported. We may remove content that breaks the guidelines, and suspend or close an account.
